MVM CEEnergy Zrt., a member of the MVM Group, is participating in the Corvinus Project as the first element of its project portfolio aiming to implement its Upstream strategy. The Corvinus project is an investment focused on the exploration, development and production of unconventional natural gas fields in Hungary.
The project is being implemented in a 50-50% joint venture structure involving MVM CEEnergy Zrt. and Horizont General LLC., a subsidiary of the US-based Aspect Holdings LLC.
The drilling of the first well, Nyék-6A, has been completed. The drilling and the subsequent production test are positive and promising from a technical and geological point of view.
